The Speed-Commander™ 1500 Compact has a welded panel with spring steel stiffeners for stability. The door seals extremely well due to the narrow insertion area on the guide tracks where the panel runs inside, and guide track draft seals assist with forming a tight seal around the door panel.
Elegant and compact aluminum guide tracks only require 5-1/2" of clearance on either side of the door opening, and a powerful UL rated, high cycle tubular motor requires only 17-3/4" headroom clearance. The result is streamline and modern-looking.
Optional Remote Keypad Conveniently Accesses Control Box Functions
More and more installations are requiring that the door control box is installed out of the reach of passersby or completely away from the door in a central location. For these types of applications, our optional remote keypad is the ideal accessory; it allows for the door control box to be remotely installed while still having the ability to operate all control functions through a compact, 3" x 5-1/2" keypad integral on either the left or right guide track at 51" up from the bottom of the track.
